Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional; Touriga Franca; Tinta Roriz; Tinta Barroca; Tinto Cão.
Tasting notes: Medium tawny. Iodine, orange skin, sweetmeat, apricot, plum and dates. Compelling and very fine in the mouth, with a slight touch of iodine. Dry and elegant finish.
Food pairing: Excellent digestive wine, splendid with sweets such as almond pie, condensed milk pie, english cake or São Jorge cheese, smoked gouda and cigars.
Serve at 18°C/64°F or slightly chilled
